Nicéphore Niépce is most know for the invention of photography and produced the world's first known photograph in 1825. He got very interested in many inventions including the bicycle, hydraulic machine, and many others. There are now awards named after him including "Niépce Prize" given to successful photographers. He was a part of the world of photography today and made a path for many new inventions for cameras.
